"Joyful Heart" Sound Healing & Havdalah with Hazzan Shayndel

Saturday, March 30 | 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM | In Person

In honor of the month of Adar, Hebrew chants for joy and holy laughter will be interwoven with the vibrational healing waves of Himalayan singing bowls, lyre, flute, gong, chimes, drum and tingsha.

The Himalayan bowls contain sacred metals that align with the seven creative planets and the seven chakras of the body. The meditative frequencies of these therapeutic instruments calm our mind, body and spirit and bring a deep sense of relaxation, peace and inner happiness.

Bring a pillow, sleeping mat and a blanket. You’ll be invited to make yourself comfortable and lie down or recline in a chair.

A Message on Israel & Palestine

From the Nevei Kodesh Board, Spiritual Leadership, and Staff

The current cycle of horrific violence in Israel and Palestine that began with Hamas’ terrorist attack on October 7, 2023, breaks our hearts and challenges our community’s commitment to Olam Chesed Yibaneh (Psalm 89:3) — Empowering Kindness — in our lives and in the world.

Many of us feel anger, fear, grief, numbness, sadness, as well as compassion, empathy, and a host of other emotions; our unique complicated and conflicting feelings are all valid and natural responses to what is happening. Our commitment to hold one another with and through these intense feelings as a community remains unwavering.
